Data Requests

ºÚÁÏÍø Employee Data Requests

Employees that need additional data, please complete the data request form. Prior to approval of data requests, Insitutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) will determine the validity of all data requests in relation to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other college policies. When appropriate, the Leadership Team will be informed of the request prior to approval.

The IRE Office will make every attempt to fulfill requests as quickly as possible, however please expect a minimum of 10 working days for completion of most requests. Completion time for data requests varies based on the nature of the data request, how critical the request is to the success of the College’s mission, access to data requested, and other factors.

 

External Data Requests

All external requests for data must follow ºÚÁÏÍø's Open Records procedure as outlined in Section GA.2 of the ºÚÁÏÍø Board Policy and Administrative Procedures Manual.

Research Requests

Any individual or organization wishing to conduct research involving ºÚÁÏÍø, its students or personnel, at or on behalf of the College, must have approval from the Research Review Committee. To begin this process, the requestor must first submit an email request to the IRE Office indicating your request to conduct research and include all relevant documents. Relevant documents may include items such as university Insitutional Review Board (IRB) approved document, the IRB, and any surveys and or outreach communication that is part of the research. The requestor will be contacted by the IRE Director who serves as the liaison between the requestor and the committee. The committee will review the research request and further documentation, or explanations may be required from the requestor. The decision from the committee can take up to 6 weeks from the time all completed documents and information have been received. Please note this entire process can take several months depending on the scope of the project.
